Cancellations
Draft for legal review
Cancelling is free until the courier is booked. If the maker cancels, you are refunded in full.
Can I cancel before my order is sent?
Yes, until the courier is booked, with no cancellation charge.
Your full refund starts at once, back to the way you paid.
Open the order and choose Cancel while it says the maker is preparing it. There is no cancellation charge. We start your full refund at once, back to the way you paid, and it reaches you within 7 working days, depending on your bank.
Can I cancel once the courier is booked?
No. Once a courier is booked to collect it, the piece is on its way.
You can refuse it at the door, or return it within 7 days of delivery.
When the maker has packed the piece and a courier is booked to collect it, the order no longer offers Cancel. From then on the parcel cannot be called back. Instead:
- Refuse it at the door. The parcel goes back to the maker and you are refunded in full.
- Return it. Ask from your order within 7 days of delivery, under the shop’s returns rule. A fault is always refunded.
What if the maker cancels my order?
You are refunded in full, and you owe nothing.
That holds at every stage, for a ready-made piece and a piece made to order.
If the maker or Wumn cancels your order, everything you paid comes back to you, back to the way you paid, within 7 working days. Nothing is deducted. For a piece made to order this is true even after making has started, and if the maker cancels once it is being made or finished, Wumn also pays you 30% or 30% of the price, from the maker’s settlement.
Can I cancel a piece made to order?
Before you pay, nothing is owed: decline the offer or let it lapse.
After you pay: everything back while it waits to start, at least 70% while it is being made, at least 70% once it is finished. Not once it is sent.
Cancel from your order. The maker says what she keeps for the work done, up to the limit for that stage, and Wumn checks it before anything moves. The full rule, with a late piece and the maker cancelling, is in Made to order.
