How can I pay?
Online, at checkout: UPI, debit and credit cards, net banking and wallets.
No cash on delivery. Every order is paid before it is sent.
At checkout you choose any method the payment window offers you: UPI, a debit or credit card, net banking or a wallet. Cash on delivery is not offered. You pay for a piece made to order when you accept the maker’s offer, at the price in that offer.
What will I be charged?
The price of each piece, which includes GST. Delivery is free.
You see one total, with its breakup, before you pay. Nothing is added later.
Wumn adds no fee for any payment method.
- The pieceThe price the maker set for your size, including GST, never above the MRP.
- DeliveryFree, on every order.
- Payment methodNo fee from Wumn, whichever method you choose.
- The payment company’s feePaid by Wumn. Never added to your total, and never taken from the maker.
- Wumn’s commissionPaid by the maker, out of the price. Never added to your total.
- A piece made to orderThe price in the offer you accept. Anything extra, such as fabric the maker buys for you, is shown before you pay it.
- Returning for a change of mind₹80 return postage, taken from your refund, where the maker offers refunds. No other return costs you anything.
Checkout shows each piece’s price, delivery and the total you pay, in one figure, before you pay. Your bank or card issuer may charge its own fees, for example for a card used abroad; Wumn does not set or receive them.
Is my card safe?
Your card details go straight to the payment aggregator.
Wumn never receives or stores your card number, expiry or CVV.
When you pay by card, you type your card details into the payment aggregator’s own window (today Razorpay Software Private Limited’s), and they go straight to it. Wumn never receives or stores your card number, expiry date or CVV, and no one at Wumn can see them. For your receipt we keep the card network and its last four digits, or the name of your wallet or bank. Any card saved for a later payment is saved by the aggregator as a token, as the Reserve Bank of India requires, never by Wumn.
Wumn never asks for your card number, CVV, UPI PIN or a one-time code, by message, call or e-mail. Anyone who does is not Wumn.
Who handles my payment?
An RBI-authorised payment aggregator takes your payment: today the checkout is Razorpay’s.
Only makers whose identity and bank account Wumn has checked can sell or be paid.
You can also raise a chargeback with your bank or card issuer.
Your payment is taken by a payment aggregator authorised by the Reserve Bank of India. Today you pay in Razorpay Software Private Limited’s checkout window; it settles the payment to Wumn, and Wumn pays the maker her share once the return window has closed. Wumn is moving its checkout to Cashfree Payments India Private Limited, which will hold the money at its bank and settle each maker’s share straight to her own bank account. We will tell you before it changes.
Every maker on Wumn makes her own pieces and sends each one herself, from the pickup address Wumn checked. Wumn keeps no stock and does not drop-ship.

How do refunds come back to me?
Back the way you paid, sent by Wumn.
It reaches you within 7 working days, depending on your bank.
Money taken but no order? We complete the order or refund you in full.
- The way you paid. Wumn sends every refund through the payment aggregator to the account, card or wallet you paid from. It reaches you within 7 working days, depending on your bank. You do not have to ask the maker for it.
- When it is sent. At once when you or the maker cancel; when the courier collects a return; or when Wumn decides a dispute in your favour.
- Money taken but no order? Sign in and open Payment not received. We match it with the payment aggregator and either complete your order or refund it in full. Under the Reserve Bank of India’s rules, a failed payment is reversed within the time it sets for that method, and the bank or payment company at fault owes you compensation if it is late.
- Not arrived? Write to care@wumn.in with your order number, and we trace it with the payment aggregator and your bank.
Why should I pay only on Wumn?
Only a payment made at Wumn’s checkout is covered by returns, refunds and Wumn’s help.
Never pay a maker by UPI, bank transfer or a payment link sent in a message.
A payment sent to a maker directly, or to anyone else, is outside Wumn, and Wumn cannot trace or refund it. What to do if someone asks for one is in Messages and safety.
