Coins and rewards
Draft for legal review
Share a piece you like. When a friend buys it through your link, you earn coins. These are the rules.
How do I earn coins?
Share a piece’s link. When a friend buys through it and the return window closes, coins come to you.
At most 50 coins from one order.
- Share a link to a piece from Wumn. A friend who opens it and buys the piece is counted for your link.
- When they arrive. Once the friend’s order is delivered and its 7 days return window has closed with no return. Until then they show under Coins as waiting.
- How many. As Wumn’s rules for sharing say at the time of the order, at most 50 from one order. You never see who bought.
- Say so. If you post about a piece because you earn coins for it, say it is a rewarded share where you post it, for example “I earn coins if you buy”.
How do I spend them?
At checkout, when Wumn has switched spending on. Coins shows you whether it is on.
Each checkout keeps at least ₹1 in cash, and Wumn sets the most coins can take off one.
When spending is on, checkout offers to take coins off your items. What one coin is worth is set by Wumn, between ₹0.01 and ₹100, and shown under Coins before you use one. The most coins can take off one checkout is set by Wumn, never more than ₹10,000. Shipping is never paid in coins, and every checkout keeps at least ₹1 in cash. If an order you paid partly in coins is cancelled or refunded, your coins come back.
Can the rules change, and can I lose coins?
A coin is never made worth less without 30 days’ notice.
Coins are not money: they cannot be cashed, sold or moved, and are lost when your account is erased.
- Notice. If Wumn makes a coin worth less, everyone holding coins is told 30 days before. Switching spending off, or lowering the most coins can take off one checkout, can start the same day.
- Not money. Coins have no cash value. They cannot be withdrawn, sold, given to someone else or used outside Wumn.
- Misuse. Coins earned by buying through your own link, or by fake accounts or fake orders, may be taken back, and your coins may be paused.
- Closing your account. Coins you hold are lost when your account is erased.
